Honoring the service men and women of the United States with immeasurable hospitality, The Mirage welcomed the Stars and Stripes Foundation, a military organization that raises funds for wounded warriors and their families, to the resort for a weekend full of exemplary accommodations and activities. Making the service members feel right at home was a priority as personalized letters from President Felix Rappaport and VP of Hotel Operations Franz Kallao were placed inside each room along with a welcome amenity that included candy from the Sugar Factory, celebrity sighting hot-spot at The Mirage. The in-room channel, Mirage marquee, and additional signage throughout the property also had warm welcome messages for the group.

The Stars and Stripes Foundation members and their guests will enjoy a wonderful itinerary that consists of a four night/three day stay in a luxurious Mirage guest room, breakfast each morning at Cravings Buffet, tickets to see Terry Fator: Ventriloquism in Concert, and a VIP Meet and Greet with Terry Fator after the show.

Today, President Felix Rappaport and The Mirage hotel team were presented with a “Certificate of Appreciation” from Sergeant Major Mark Christianson, vice-president of the Stars and Stripes Foundation. The presentation took place at the gorgeous Mirage atrium as Mr. Rappaport graciously accepted the award and personally shook the hands of all military group members, thanking them for their service. The group was enthusiastic and appreciative of The Mirage as they thanked Mr. Rappaport for hosting them. As one member said, “This is one weekend we will never forget.”

In addition to hosting the Stars and Stripes Foundation, The Mirage and Terry Fator look forward to welcoming wounded war service members during the USO’s “Tribute to the Troops” concert, a special Veteran’s Day weekend performance of Terry Fator: Ventriloquism in Concert this Sunday, Nov. 14 at noon inside the Terry Fator Theatre at The Mirage. Employees will welcome the service members at 11 a.m. in the rotunda area of The Mirage Events Center followed by a Meet and Greet with Fator, group photo and tickets to see a special performance of Fator’s extraordinary show.
